Museum Night at Wawel Royal Castle

Zoom in -
Museum Night at Wawel Royal Castle:
“State Rooms” exhibition  and “The Lost Museum” Multimedia Presentation
May 19/20, 2017, 7:00 p.m. – midnight (last visitor entry)
Enter through the Senators Gate

State Rooms
The State Rooms – the Wawel Castle’s most popular exhibition – will be open to visitors. The exhibition includes the celebrated 16th century tapestry collection of King Sigismund II Augustus, royal portraits, and Dutch and Italian Old Master paintings, as well as Renaissance and Baroque era furniture.

“The Lost Museum 2017” – Multimedia Presentation in the Arcaded Courtyard
In what has become an annual tradition, “The Lost Museum” presents various aspects of Poland’s cultural losses during World War II in an approachable, edgy way. This year’s edition looks at the dramatic story of the evacuation to Canada of Wawel’s priceless tapestries (the same ones that you can see in the State Rooms today).

Please note: the exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci's "Lady with an Ermine" at  Wawel Royal Castle ended.
